Recently, in the selection activity organized by Tianjin Engineering Consulting Association, the project "2018 Feasibility Study Report of Tianjin Unicom FDD-LTE Wireless Network Inter-band Expansion Project (Phase I)" of Tianjin Designing Institute of P&T, a subsidiary of China Bester Group,won the third prize of Tianjin Excellent Engineering Consulting Achievements in 2020.
Main work content of the project "2018 Feasibility Study Report of Tianjin Unicom FDD-LTE Wireless Network Inter-band Expansion Project (Phase I)" was to build FDD-LTE wireless network inter-band carrier expansion site and add 281 fans, among which 140 were from Huawei and 141 were from ZTE. 16 RCUs and 10 combiners were newly added, with a total investment of 11.6995 million yuan. The overall project took more than 4 months from project establishment and delivery to formal commercial use. The feasibility study of the project was initiated, and the preparation and approval of the meeting took 1 month, the first-stage design, equipment procurement, construction and installation, and overall network optimization lasted 3 months, and the official commercial opening of the project lasted 1 week. Li Yanbing, Dong Daquan, Bo Keyun, Zhang Yu and Wei Jingwei of Tianjin Post and Telecommunications Design Institute are in charge of the project.
This project has both technical advantages and full-process management characteristics:
Technical aspect: This project uses carrier aggregation technology, which is based on LTE-A's need to aggregate two or more component carriers in order to support the downlink transmission bandwidth exceeding 20MHz. By aggregating two or more carrier units together to support a larger transmission bandwidth (maximum of 100MHz), meets the large bandwidth requirements of user data networks, and reflects the comprehensive LTE-A technical advantages.
Management: Adopted full-process consulting management. In the process of project implementation, first established clear team goals, and refined the goals to individuals based on their work abilities. The teams performed their responsibilities and conducted regular dynamic reviews to grasp key links and data. High-quality completed Party A’s project objectives within the construction period.
The project won the Outstanding Engineering Consultation Achievement Award, setting a benchmark for the quality of engineering consultation of Tianjin Post and Telecommunications Design Institute, and laying a solid foundation for consolidating reputation and expanding the market. As an outstanding performance of consulting projects, it is of great significance for the future bidding activities and the continuation of enterprise qualification.
